Send troops to japan
American troops swarm the pacific, slowly taking back islands from the Japanese. It is a slow, tedious war that takes a horrifyingly massive toll to win. At first, the Japanese kept on the offense due to their advanced technology and their familiarity with the landscape, but as the war goes America starts to outpace the Japanese in manufacturing. Your generals start to learn how to deal with the tropical landscape and your military starts pushing back. After a wrenching couple of years, the Japanese are pushed back to their island and negotiations are started to end the war. Unfortunately, the negotiations crumble and the empire refuses to surrender. Without any other options to stop the war, a full scale invasion of mainland japan is undertaken. Millions of lives are taken, in the form of innocent civilians, zealous soldiers and American lives. In a desperate attempt to stop the American advancement, they arm as many civilians as they can, along with commissioning a new kind of fighter, the kamikazes. The suicidal soldiers do little to stop the inevitable firebombing of virtually all major cities in japan. Whole cities are burned to the ground, leaving almost nothing left due to the wooden nature of many of the neighborhoods in the country. After over a year of slow progression, America takes Tokyo and officially ends the war but the emperor is not captured and there are scattered reports of guerrilla warfare across the destroyed state. Congress, tired with the war and the Japanese, create a very one sided peace-treaty that only infuriates the country even more. The puppet state that is put in place by America is soon destroyed by the old government and its civilians. They take control over the country, breeding even more hate for America and slowly growing in power… Meanwhile in Germany and France, America barely held the French lines, as Nazi Germany started a war with the USSR. Your forces start to pushing forward, facing less and less resistance. As they push into Germany, They are stopped by USSR forces and find out that Germany has been annexed by the USSR. Your American soldiers hear stories about the desperate fighting that occurred on the other side of Germany, Moscow changing hands a couple of times. The USSR, like your country, has fought a long, hard, and bloody war against their enemy. Britain was a major factor in the battle as well, comprising of most of the troops on the French lines, though thankfully, they never had to fight a battle on their own mainland. Your country is tired from war and about half a million soldiers won't be coming home due to the destructive fighting in the east. The war ends just in time for the creation of a new weapon, the atomic bomb. Your military, unaware of its world destructing potential, mass produce it, arming itself for a massive strike in the wars to come...
